Scarlet
This is an original, signed, impasto oil painting, entitled "Scarlet". Because of the amount of paint used to create the texture, this piece dried in my studio for 6 weeks before matte varnish was applied.
This piece is 8"x8". It was painted with oil on a wood panel, using brushwork and a palette knife for thick bold strokes. The palette knife gives my art a unique sense of movement, with subtle highlights from reflected light.
It is framed in a custom walnut floating frame. Mounting hardware is included.
This piece will be padded and shipped in bubble wrap for protection.
